How it works
paduno only works if it's worth it for everyone: the players, the captains who run the games and the venues that own the courts. Here's how the money moves.
Where your £16 goes
A typical game: four courts, 90 minutes, about fourteen of sixteen spots filled, full price.
| The venue, for the court | £6.50 |
|---|---|
| Your captain | £2.59 |
| VAT | £2.67 |
| Balls and card fees | £0.86 |
| paduno | £3.38 |
| Your spot | £16.00 |
paduno's share pays for booking, levels, the season tables, insurance and finding new players.
Why it's £16
Peak court time in London often costs £60 an hour or more. paduno only plays in the hours venues struggle to sell, so we can pay the venue fairly and still keep a spot at £16. That's why most games start at 8:30pm or later, or on a weekend afternoon.
